The Ultimate Trump card (No pun intended), Survive!

 

    I can honestly say that I am a huge fan of Tokusatsu!  If you don't know what that is, it's using tons of special effects in a T.V show or movie, but with a well written story!  Like imagine a Michael Bay movie but it actually has a good plot!  With that being said there's a particular Japanese Super Hero called Kamen Rider; a motorcycle riding super hero!  There is one specific Kamen Rider series called Kamen Rider Ryuki, in it Kamen Riders Ryuki and Knight unlock a new form to help them defeat a powerful enemy, this form is called Survive.  With it they unlock new abilities and gear that gives them the strength to stand against anyone who stands in their way.  Plus I won't lie, it does look pretty cool when Ryuki goes into that form!

    Take a good look at this cause we now need to talk about a certain event that recently transpired and trust me, this will not be fun.

    

    Tuesday November 5th 2024, was election night in America aka the night where I feel like many people across the country had a hard time trying to sleep, I should know cause I was tossing and turning avoiding my phone trying not to look at the results.  I mean this election was SUPER stressful because we could either have the first black/southeast Asian woman as president, or a convicted felon/too many things to name as a president.  I think it's pretty obvious that felon is the worst choice, I mean if you look at what he stands for and the people who surrounds him, this man is one of the most un-american people to run for public office.  Yet, he won....which is shocking but not shocking.  I mean this country has a bad habit of making EXTREMELY poor choices!  Like not to get too political.......oh fuck it, we're getting political here!  We have had many chances and opportunities to provide all citizens basic means of survival....but we just don't cause we are American!  I mean I'm not speaking for all, just the ones who are in power who do nothing.  This whole election, I started out having hope, but then seeing how things were going, disappointment started to set in.  Let me make this clear, I do not agree with a plethora of Kamala Harris's stances, but damn it I voted for her cause she at least she didn't have concepts of an idea, she HAD idea's and a plan of action!  Trump on the other hand wanted to make America hate again, and unfortunately he got his wish.

    With Project 2025, this man now has a game plan to really do some serious damage to the country.  Some of this includes, causing massive damage to the environment, rolling back protections to various groups and minorities, and instituting a nationwide abortion ban.  I know someone might say "He said he wouldn't do that" and thus I have to remind y'all, this man said he wouldn't do a bunch of things, but he did them anyway.  Seriously I wake up and ask myself, did we fall into the bad timeline?  You know a world where we let a convicted felon hold the highest job position in the country, but won't let them work a retail job?  I will say it, this shit is wild, and I don't like it!  I'm telling you, this whole experience was like getting tested to see if your cold was gone, only to find out you got the flu and an STI as well.

    So now I bet you are wondering what's the silver lining in all of this; or expecting me to say "Hey it won't be so bad".  Unfortunately, this is fucking terrible and I do not really have anything major to say except a word that can possibly help.  Survive......that's it.  I know its not something people want to here but it is what we can do.  This isn't how I wanted 2024 to go, I mean you wake up, you discovered that one of your parents died, and that the country that you were born in fucking hates you for existing!  Yet, that right there is the key for making through this whole mess!  If you are a person with a vulva, they will try to take away abortion access, but the thing is that they think it will 1000% stop abortions from happening.  They feel that if you stop people from learning about the LGBTQIA+ community, it will stop us from existing; unfortunately for them, that's not how things work.  You can do a plethora of things to make our lives miserable but that doesn't stop us from being who we are and doing what we can to get what we want!

    These people wish to push a narrative when it comes to sex, the idea that women are meant to be tools and objects, only known for making babies instead of seeing them as individuals with rights, wants and needs.  I know this because Project 2025 exists and I did my research on the people who wrote this shit.  Some wish to make sure pornography, smut, or ANYTHING sexual is illegal in this country.  I swear these people are so insecure it is utterly sad.....

    Ever since the election, there has been some scary rhetoric coming from the right.  Nick Fuentes, a self proclaimed white supremacist, incel, and man who shat himself while running in junior high school(true, look it up!), posted the following "Your body, my choice", as a means to tell women, that they have no rights anymore and that he can do what he wants to them.  I feel like by saying that phrase as well as trying to follow it through you are essentially saying "I'm about to fuck around, and find out", and spoiler alert, it will not give you the results you hope to get!  That is why survival is key in this situation, we as a whole have to stay strong and fight back against oppression.  This means going out and getting involved in local activities within your city.  Or hell if you cannot go out, then organize shit digitally, make videos write in a  blog, I don't know do something!  We can't just sit here and expect people to do things for us, our political and justice system has dramatically failed us, and now we have to get involved and do things ourselves.

       I know some people are considering straight up leaving the United States, hell I would be lying if I said I hadn't considered it myself, I mean I'm a black non binary individual; shit's about to get scary for me.  However, I plan to stay and fight back!  This fight is not for everyone, and if people wish to leave the United States, I do not blame them and wish them the best.  But for me, I feel like I have to stand my ground and fight back.  Being black, I come from a long line of people who had to fight oppression in just about every generation.  My family dealt with slavery, Jim Crow, and Ronald Reagan, and you know what, they survived.  This is now my time to fight and to stand up and make myself known as someone who will not be bullied or bossed around through this whole scenario!  One think I will say this election has done is make me along with other people feel bolder in whom we are and how we present ourselves!  I hope that who ever is reading this, they know that they are not alone, and no matter what happens, or what laws they enact, you still exist and you still deserve the rights and autonomy you are entitled too.

 

     We close on one piece of information that might make some of you happy at the very least!  When you're full of hate and anger towards certain marginalized groups of people, or when you are acting like a racist/fascist incel who gets mad that women reject him, you age A LOT being filled with that kind of resentment.  How do I know this?  Well take a look at this picture of me and John McEntee!  This man co-authored Project 2025........oh yeah and we are both the same age!  He is just 2 months older than me!  See what I mean, being filled of hate makes you look older!  Choose love people and lets get through this together!
