Transphobia is literal brain rot!

    Tell me, have you ever watched an anime called Code Geass?  It's an incredible anime, that features mental games, mecha fights and colonialism....sponsored by Pizza hut (seriously, they really do sponsor this anime)!  This anime was extremely well written to the point where years later it can still be referenced by other anime fans, and its popularity lead to a movie being made 13 years after this series ended; that's a big deal!  Yet one of the key aspects of this series, are the characters, because many of them have different motivations as to why they do what they do.  What gets crazy, is when some characters use their special powers and abilities to control or manipulate certain people or alter reality!  Like I said the characters really move the story entirely, but there is one character I want to talk about.

    This is Nina Einstein, she was a student at Ashford Academy, then later became a scientist.  Looking at her, you would think that she is a sweet and gentle person, but in actuality, she is an extreme racist and xenophobe.  This woman has an immense hatred for people who are Japanese to the point where she would detonate a nuke at her school if it meant Japanese students would die....this literally happened in an episode.  Her hatred of Japanese people clouds her judgement causing her not to use logic or sense, she goes off on the extreme.  Now I will be honest, Nina has some problems....mentally.....I mean this girl pleasured herself with a table; however this all stems from hatred for a certain group of people.  Just because they exist, this woman created a weapon of mass destruction to fight back against them.  Do you see how absurd that is; I mean come on!

  I know Nina is an extreme example, but her viewpoints and actions( minus dropping a nuke and creating a weapon of mass destruction) is similar to people who are literally transphobic.  It baffles me constantly that people that people literally throw a fit because a certain group of people exist.  I'm black and Non-binary, and a wake up in utter confusion some times that people are uncomfortable with me to the point where they wish death on me.  Now, before you say "Oh you're just exaggerating", I have to ask, what country are you living in?  Because this is SUPER prevalent in the United States.  I mean it's ironic that they say this place is the land of the free, yet they do what ever they can to inhibit a person from freely trying to express themselves.  Hating someone for being trans or doing everything in your power to make a trans persons life miserable is literal poison.  Because, at one point, it becomes the main center of your life......and your personality too.  In fact, lets explore that yes?

       This is Paul Strickland, he is from a show called 911 Lone Star, which is about a bunch of firefighters in Texas.  There is this one episode in the first season where a lady who was being racist needed CPR, but she was very picky on who was going to give it to her.  Right before Paul got ready to administer mouth to mouth, he told her that he was trans (fun fact, the actor who plays him is trans!); and at that point she realized she didn't need CPR any more and would rather be arrested for disturbing the peace as a racist.  Now granted, the woman in the scene was faking that she needed CPR because of the threat of being arrested, but she was so transphobic, she would rather get arrested for disturbing the peace, versus letting a Trans man give her CPR.  I mean kudos to Paul here for exposing the hate from this woman (Although she was very vocal about her hate), but it raises the question of if she was really in danger, would she deny him saving her life?  But, then I quickly remember that this series takes place in Texas, so we all know she is going to choose to suffer cause she does not want a Trans man to save her!  Despite this, do you see what I mean though?  When you are transphobic, it clouds your judgement, and you end up making rash and ignorant decisions; same if your racist too.  

    There are a plethora of transphobic people who suffer from brain rot, but the most famous one we need to talk about is Joanne Rowling, or J.K. Rowling as she is most famously known.  I won't deny the fact that I grew up with the Harry Potter Series, hell I remember saying I was a combination of Ravenclaw and Slytherin, as well as I even played Quidditch in college too.  But, the moment it was revealed that she was transphobic, I was in denial at first because I sat there going "There is no way she is, I mean it makes no sense"; until I saw it for my own eyes.  When her viewpoints about trans people become known, you could see the shift in tone in EVERYTHING she does.  Everything stopped being about her books or expanding the lore of her series; instead it gradually became nothing but transphobia.  It started in 2018 where she liked a tweet that was transphobic.  She claims it was an accident, but let's be honest; for what came afterwards, it was not a mistake.  In 2020, she released a book called Troubled Blood, a crime fiction story where the main villain was a man who dresses like a woman to kill other women...because according to her, she's not transphobic she respects trans people and believes they have every right to live as they identify!

   But you gotta love the fact that people she respects even calls he out on this shit!  But like I said earlier, transphobia rots your brain and even clouds your judgement!

 

     So here's the thing, I have zero idea what kind of lives many people reading my blog lead, but in case you were living under a rock, this is Olympic Boxer; Imane Khelif.  She participated in the Paris 2024 Olympics where she won the gold medal in boxing in the women's division!  During one match, her opponent said she hit her too hard and forfeited the match claiming it was not fair.  Reports came along that she was not a woman, but a trans man; and that she had XY chromosomes as well as elevated testosterone levels.  Rowling jumped on board with this and went after her too along with people like Elon Musk, Jake Paul and more.  There was just one tiny issue...NONE OF THAT STUFF WAS TRUE!  All of that was just fake news and rumors purported because she could kick ass...or punch ass....look she was good, end of story!!  She is not reported to having elevated testosterone, she doesn't have XY chromosomes, and nor is she transgender!  Which would be really weird because it's ILLEGAL to be trans in Algeria, and this is NOT an exaggeration!  Despite being wrong about her gender identity and everything, Rowling apologized and realized she made a mistake about her identity...now in a perfect world, that would be wonderful!  In reality, she doubled down and as I am writing this, she STILL believes Khelif is a man, because women have to look a certain way in her eyes!  See what I mean, it's brain rot to the 100th degree!!!

 Transphobia is just straight up disgusting, so lets end this on a positive note!  No matter the hate we receive for going against what society says about our gender identity, we must stand strong and press forward.  This is Nathan Seymour from the anime Tiger&Bunny; they are known as the Bourgeois Open Flame Broil Hero, Fire Emblem!  Growing up, they began to display attraction towards people of the same gender, back when they identified as a man, but as a result they were bullied and ridiculed for it.  As they got older, they tried being more feminine by having long hair and wearing dresses, but the ridicule did not stop, and even their parents bullied them too.  I know all of that sounds sad and depressing, but the point I want to make is that it never defeated them!  Instead it emboldened them and pushed them to move forward and live their live on their terms.  They realized that transphobic peoples voices and comments were useless to them as it doesn't help them out in life.  As an adult, Nathan is proudly and openly Non-Binary, as well as a super hero, and the owner of Helios Energy aka the electric company, in the world of this anime!  Nathan works hard every day to live their life on their terms regardless of what people may say or think about them.  And if they can, then every trans/non binary person can do the same too!
